My work begins with personal experience, exploring questions of existence through place, memory, and our relationships with others. Through rooms, homes, islands, and the objects and landscapes within them, I trace the textures of memory and perception, transforming familiar spaces through vivid color into landscapes.
These personal inquiries extend into the lives of others through research. I collect different experiences and narratives, translating them into a visual language of dots, lines, color, and form, while tracing the unexpected connections and images that emerge as individual stories intersect.
For me, existence is less an isolated point than a landscape continually reshaped through place, memory, and relationships. I am drawn to the space in between—where these elements touch and overlap—and to discovering landscapes that have yet to be named.
